By The Associated Press Tuesday, March 1, 2011 Austin360.com NEW YORK — Harry Connick Jr. will be bringing his crooner's voice back to Broadway. The Grammy-winning musician and star of the 2006 revival of "The Pajama Game" will star this fall in a reworked version of "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever." The musical with a score by Burton Lane and Alan Jay Lerner will have a new book by Peter Parnell, based on the original story by Alan Jay Lerner. It is being directed by Tony winner Michael Mayer. Connick will play a psychiatrist who puts a young man under hypnosis to help him quit smoking, only to reveal his patient's former life as a female jazz singer. The 43-year-old singer spent the summer of 2010 in "Harry Connick, Jr. in Concert on Broadway." Producers made the announcement Tuesday.
