This Old House New Orleans Project
The THIS OLD HOUSE New Orleans Project, a ten episode series which premiered on WGBH on February 28, will tell in-depth stories about the road to recovery in New Orleans.
“We’re eager to share the compelling stories about the recovery and rebuilding efforts of individual homeowners who are committed to bringing back their beloved city, house by house,” says THIS OLD HOUSE host Kevin O’Connor. “We want our viewers nationwide to see and hear about the narratives of hope, perseverance, artistry, and craftsmanship taking place throughout New Orleans.” Continuing its focus on salvaging historic neighborhoods, THIS OLD HOUSE will tell the story of Musicians’ Village—an endeavor in the Upper Ninth Ward conceived by world-renowned saxophonist Branford Marsalis and multi-talented musician, composer, and actor Harry Connick, Jr.
